Ceramics
balancing.
3D still life
Joaquin Cipriani / Digital Artist
A study of weight, surface, and improbable equilibrium.
Objects on
the edge of balance.
Ceramics balancing arranges cups, vases, bowls, and sculptural forms into precarious stacks. Small points of contact and gaps between objects create a sense of suspended movement, turning the still life into a study of tension.
The series shifts between rough ceramic textures, crackled finishes, saturated matte color, and translucent glasslike surfaces. Hard-edged light, foliage shadows, and sweeping bands of brightness give each arrangement its own atmosphere.

Changing the
material language.
Muted vessels and earthy surfaces give way to violet stacks, bright geometric arrangements, and a playful scene with clouds and a rainbow. In the later studies, colored transparency and rough pedestals introduce a sharper contrast between lightness and mass.
Across these variations, the central question remains the same: how can shape, color, and light make an unstable arrangement feel visually balanced?
