Familiar objects. Unfamiliar arrangements.

A room becomes
a stage.
House Studio explores how ordinary chairs can become the subject of a constructed image. A minimal room, raised platform, and strong window light provide a consistent setting for experiments in color, viewpoint, and arrangement.
The series moves between three distinct moods: a quiet pair of blue chairs, a single orange chair appearing to float, and a cluster of pink chairs suspended against a violet interior. With little decoration in the room, the curves of the seats and the lines of their metal legs carry the composition.

Stillness,
then suspension.
The blue-chair images use open space and cool tones to establish a calm rhythm. Front and side views reveal the shell shape, while reflections along the legs make the slim structure readable against the room.
In the orange studies, the tilted chair and diagonal framing unsettle that balance. Warm light catches the seat edge, and the window pattern gives the suspended object a strong relationship to the surrounding architecture.

Repetition
becomes sculpture.
The pink arrangements multiply and rotate the chair into a floating cluster. Repeated shells form a loose circular structure; crossing legs draw fine lines through the gaps. The shadows become a second arrangement on the wall below.
Saturated pink and violet push the familiar furniture toward a more surreal image. The tighter crops isolate the overlaps and reflective edges, while a school-chair variation tests the same idea with a more angular silhouette.
